I’m… not really sure how that supposed to be countered. It looks like it rivals the Rayven–maybe even the Magstrike of all things–for rate-of-fire, and it of course out-ranges both.
Honestly, your demonstration against the unwitting masses at the Elite Launch Party caught my interest, but this just makes me want to pick it up so much more. I can’t wait. It certainly seems like Vortex’s “secret weapon” to counter N-Strike this time around.

Of course the question is will the Hailfire be able to counter the Pyrogon?
I think a lot rests on whether or not we can get 20 disc mags or something similar for when the Pyrogon’s drum runs dry. I just don’t think 10 disc mags are going to be adequate, but I’m a little concerned we might end up with a situation like the 18 round dart clips where people are crying out for them for such a long time without them actually being released. The basic sized clips/mags just aren’t big enough where slam fire is concerned.
